The Winnies was founded by Pils (dark bay in photo) my beloved 27 year old Holstein warm blood. Pils retired 5 years ago after a life of show jumping. He had COPD and arthritis but now you would never know. He has gone from strength to strength living out all year round in the peace and tranquillity that is The Winnies. I am now able to offer a grass livery service to other horses and provide them with the same loving, caring, personal attention they deserve. Our home for retired horses opened in May 2008 and approval under the BHS approved livery yard scheme is now being sought. |
